Float Therapy Experience

I wouldn’t consider myself a high-stress person, but everyone likes to unwind from time to time! When I need a break, I’ll go get my nails done or maybe even get a massage, but this weekend I experienced a new way to relax: float therapy. Vive Float Studio in Cherry Creek was nice enough to invite Hayden and I down to their studio to try out float therapy (though they offer many other rest and recovery services too) and we had a great time. I can’t even try to explain what float therapy is or all of its benefits, so […]

8 Inexpensive Ways to Transition Your Decor for Fall

It’s that time of year again people… hello FALL! The leaves are starting to turn, you’re breaking out your sweaters and booties, and there is a chill in the air (unless you’re in 90 degree Colorado, like me)! I LOVE fall and for the first time in my life I have an apartment with all of my own decor that I can adjust in anyway I want for the season. I officially switched up my decor about two weeks ago which may seem premature but I don’t even care! Today I’m going to show you guys some inexpensive swaps and […]

Madison Quinn Blog Turns One!

Its a blogiversary, y’all! Cred to Hayden for that one, but Madison Quinn Blog turns one year old today! Well, technically my first post went live on June 30th, but June 26th was the day I purchased MadisonQuinn.Blog and committed to one year of blogging. What a year it’s been! The Highs Blogging has easily been one of the best decisions I have made, for so many reasons. The first being that starting my blog was something I did entirely for myself. Of course I wanted to share my love for makeup and beauty with other women, but I really […]

APARTMENT TOUR: Living Room

The long awaited Apartment Tour post! Well, the living room at least. I had so much fun decorating this great room with the living room and kitchen (kitchen portion coming soon). You’ll see there is still some stuff that needs work, specifically the entertainment center, but otherwise this room is probably the most complete! I love decorating with black and white and wood, which just so happens to be the finishes on our apartment came with. I also LOVE this room because it gets so much natural light! Almost everything is linked below, if you have any other questions feel free […]

BBG Update

Wow! Four weeks of Kayla Itsines BBG program done! Half of you are thinking “cool, who cares” and the other half of you are thinking, “wow good job!” If you are anything like me, then you know this is a huge accomplishment! The program is 12 weeks so I’m only 1/3rd of the way through, but I still feel amazing and wanted to post an update! Some background: Growing up I never had to “work out” because I played so. many. sports. When I graduated from high school and my activity seriously decreased, I, of course, started putting on weight. […]

Thoughtful and Practical Valentines Gift | Jord Watches

Practical but thoughtful gifts are so much easier said than done. For me, Valentine’s Day is the hardest holiday to shop for because of this. This isn’t just another birthday where you can buy your significant other exactly what they asked for and move on. On Valentine’s Day your gift is supposed to be sweet and thoughtful and romantic. But what about practical? Fashionable? Something your significant other will actually like? Finding a balance is difficult but this year I found the perfect gift, a wood watch, thanks to JORD. Jord is a company that makes fashion forward, high quality, […]

2018 Resolutions

I have never been a big resolution person. I usually just say I’m going to “work out more and eat healthier”, and then I make no effort towards actually doing so. This year, I genuinely took the time to think about what I want to achieve in the upcoming 12 months, and so much of it relates to this blog. I tried to think of things that are ambitious but possible with hard work, here is what I came up with: Post regularly on my blog When I get home from work and the gym I am totally exhausted and […]

Gift Guide No. 2: A Guide for Him!

Why is shopping for guys so hard? 6 years later and I still struggle to think of good gift ideas for Hayden. I put the following list together of things that either: I have got for Hayden in the past and he’s liked, things he has and loves, things I like and think guys would like! Yeti Cooler Ladies, men are weird. And they think things like coolers make good presents. I can’t understand it, as I’d rather have just about anything else… but hey, this isn’t about me. Yeti coolers are the best of the best and even though […]

Gift Guide No. 1: Gifts for Her!

I don’t want to brag, but I think I’m a pretty good gift giver. In my family it’s like a competition of whether or not you can think of a gift that someone would really want before they can even think of it themselves. Plus there is no better feeling than getting someone a gift that you know they are going to love and you just can’t wait for them to open! For my “gift guide for her” post I consulted several different women in my life to try to cover all my basis. These are some basic items that […]

Cozy Bed Guide

Let me go ahead and start this post by apologizing for being the worst blogger ever lately. It’s been a couple of weeks since my last post and I haven’t been as active on Instagram lately because I’ve been slightly distracted by my new auntie status- and let me just say, Ella Rose Gifford is the most perfect human ever!!! Exhibit A: Most of my spare time is spent rushing over to my sisters to snuggle this little one, but I am finally getting back into a routine now that she’s almost two weeks old! Onto the post! I totally […]
