Isn’t Shay Mitchell everyones girl crush? Cause she’s definitely mine! Most people know her from her Pretty Little Liars days, a show I never actually watched, but I do follow her on Instagram and I keep up with her Youtube channel pretty regularly, too. I was watching this video the other day and got inspired to do a makeup tutorial that was similar. Similar meaning none of the products are the same and I didn’t take nearly as many steps, but a tutorial nonetheless with glowy skin, matte shades of brown on the eyes, thick brows, and a nude lip… a classic Shay Mitchell look.
I will list (and link!) all the products I used below. If you would like to see how I did my makeup, I made a video that you can find below. It isn’t very informative, but will be a good reference if you try to copy this look!
Products used:
Farsali Rose Gold Elixir (to moisturize and help give me glowy skin)
Smashbox Radiant Photo Finish primer (more help with the glow)
L’Orèal True Match Foundation in the shade W6 (a drugstore staple if your like me and don’t wear foundation regularly)
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Med-light Neutral (obsessed)
RCMA Translucent Powder (to bake and set the under eye concealer)
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Bronzer in Medium-Dark (love this if you’re looking for a drugstore bronzer)
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hr Blush in the shade Paaarty (this shade goes with any makeup look)
Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette (sold out, but I used highlighters in the shades Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop) (just mix them together, I use these every. single. day)
MAC Big Brow Pencil in the shade Spiked (I don’t do my brows regularly but when I do I like to mostly fill in the top so they look more natural)
Benefit Hoola Bronzer (any bronzer will do, but this is the one produc
t I had that they used in the video I’m mimicking)
The Jaclyn Hill Palette by Morphe: Shades used in order: Butter and Pooter mixed together, Silk Creme and MFEO mixed together, Soda Pop and Central Park mixed together
L’Orèal Voluminous Primer (see this post to read more about why you need this!!)
Prosecco Pop again (to highlight my inner corner and brow)
Kylie Cosmetics KKW Collection Creme Liquid Lipsticks in Kimberly and Kim (unavailable- I wish I would have gone with a little darker lip… but I’m definitely happy I added Kim to get a little more pink and a little less nude)
