Powder Dip Nails: Everything You Need To Know

I am SO picky about my nails. One bump, scratch or chip in my manicure and that thing is good as gone so I can start over. Shellac? I will peel it off. A regular mani? I give it two days. Powder dip nails have changed the mani game for me and it will for you too! Here’s what you need to know: Yes, they are actually dipping your nails in powder! What they do is paint on what looks like clear polish and smells like glue that you’d get from those fake nail sets at the drug store. Then, […]

BBG Update

Wow! Four weeks of Kayla Itsines BBG program done! Half of you are thinking “cool, who cares” and the other half of you are thinking, “wow good job!” If you are anything like me, then you know this is a huge accomplishment! The program is 12 weeks so I’m only 1/3rd of the way through, but I still feel amazing and wanted to post an update! Some background: Growing up I never had to “work out” because I played so. many. sports. When I graduated from high school and my activity seriously decreased, I, of course, started putting on weight. […]

Laura Mercier Setting Powder (+ a dupe!)

When I buy new makeup I want to buy the fun stuff. A new eyeshadow palette, that bold lip color, but setting powders? Not so much. That was until I discovered the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This stuff, is a game changer. 1. The first way I use this powder is with a  damp beauty blender to set my under eye concealer. I don’t necessarily “bake” in this area, but I do use quite a bit of the powder and press it into the skin. No matter how much I use it never looks cakey! This powder also […]

Mini scissors  Olive oil Cotton rounds Step One: Trim your brows Like I said, I am Persian so my brows grow really fast! I start by using a spoolie to brush all the hairs up and I trim across the top with a […]

How to Get Glowing Skin

If there is one thing I love, it is summertime when I’ve got a tan going and I don’t need foundation or bronzer or anything for my skin to have that beautiful glow and natural dew. But it’s not summertime, and I have the furthest thing from a tan going for me. So, I have found a routine and some products that still make me feel like a bronze goddess even when I’m not. Step One:                     Add some dew with a face oil. In the winter I am extremely dry […]
