Cranberry Mimosa- Favorite Holiday Cocktail

One of my favorite parts of the holidays are the mornings, when all the guys are on the couch watching football, and all the girls are in the kitchen making food, listening to Christmas music, and sipping cocktails. I started making this drink a few years back and its become sort of a tradition in our house! While this is just about as easy as it gets for a cocktail, its still so festive and delicious so I thought I’d share! What you’ll need: Champagne Cranberry juice Cranberries Limes Sugar Toothpicks Step One: Cut a sliver of the lime and […]

Herbal Essences Bio Renew

If you read my “Favorite Hair Products” post then you probably saw how obsessed I am with the Smooth Collection shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences. I have literally used that stuff for as long as I can remember and I think it’s simply the best. Because of that, you can probably imagine my excitement when the first products I received as a beauty blogger were some from Herbal Essences new BioRenew line. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a little nervous to try these products, too. I was so obsessed with the Smooth Collection that I […]

Old Navy Finds

When was the last time you’ve been into an Old Navy? I’ll admit that before a couple weeks ago, it had been a while for me. I have always loved their basics and thought they were really fairly priced, but lately I really think they’ve stepped up their game as far as keeping up with the trends while still staying true to their brand. Since I went about a month and a half ago, and I have been wearing the following items NON STOP, so I had to share! 1. Mid Rise Rockstar Jegging One of my friends who keeps […]

Fig and Yarrow Review

I am so excited to be partnering up with a company you can find right here in Colorado for this review! Fig and Yarrow is an apothecary creating organic health and vanity products. You can find their stuff at their Denver location, on their website, and even in Target! Their products are made of natural things like flowers, leaves, oils and minerals that are great for your skin and health. You can find out a ton more about them on their website, but I absolutely love supporting a company like this. They are paraben and cruelty free, organic, hand crafted, […]

Gift Guide No. 2: A Guide for Him!

Why is shopping for guys so hard? 6 years later and I still struggle to think of good gift ideas for Hayden. I put the following list together of things that either: I have got for Hayden in the past and he’s liked, things he has and loves, things I like and think guys would like! Yeti Cooler Ladies, men are weird. And they think things like coolers make good presents. I can’t understand it, as I’d rather have just about anything else… but hey, this isn’t about me. Yeti coolers are the best of the best and even though […]

Gift Guide No. 1: Gifts for Her!

I don’t want to brag, but I think I’m a pretty good gift giver. In my family it’s like a competition of whether or not you can think of a gift that someone would really want before they can even think of it themselves. Plus there is no better feeling than getting someone a gift that you know they are going to love and you just can’t wait for them to open! For my “gift guide for her” post I consulted several different women in my life to try to cover all my basis. These are some basic items that […]

Weekend Getaway: Beaver Creek, CO

Another year with an amazing guy, another excuse to escape to the mountains for a couple days for some quality time together. Last weekend Hayden and I got to head up to Beaver Creek to celebrate the 6 year mark and we had an awesome time. Here’s what we did: Friday: Hayden picked me up from work and we headed up! From Downtown Denver, Beaver Creek is just over a two hour drive. Luckily we aren’t in the crazy ski season yet so there was almost no traffic. We got in around 5:30 and immediately checked into our hotel, the […]

The Perfect Anniversary Present (If You Don’t Really Do Presents)

I decided I need to start doing way more posts that are smaller and more concise. I love doing really elaborate, in depth posts telling you guys everything I know about a topic, but those posts take so long that it limits my ability to post as much as I’d like! So, without further adieu, this is my first attempt at a shorter, more compact post! Here goes nothing! For those who don’t know, my boyfriend and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary this week! (The guy snatched me up when I was only 16!) For our anniversary we usually […]

Image Skincare Review

Let me preface this post with a couple things: 1) Its going to be a long one! Grab a snack. 2) I can’t even begin to explain how excited I have been to get this post up for you guys! Back in the beginning of October Image Skincare was nice enough to send me a whole bunch of products to try out and review for you guys. For those of you who don’t know, Image is an amazing skincare brand that believes everyone deserves to have happy, healthy skin and Age Later. They have a wide variety of products ranging […]
